I came back to Vilnius on the 29th with two friends and the days that we spent together were truly great. One of the best New Year's Eve party ever.
These past days have been also the ones were I tasted the Lithuanian winter as it was in the "good old times". Meaning; extremely cold with some days reaching temperatures like -23º. The good thing is that everything was covered on snow which made me realize of two things:
- There is a special silence when it's snowing. The only thing you almost hear is your own steps on the snow.
- The semaphores and those signs that advise you how to go to a street reminds me to "Twin Peaks". Is not exactly that they are alike but they both share a feeling of coldness that is difficult to describe.
