Public transport in Vilnius

Yes, yes, I know that I already wrote a "Lithuanian Pecularity" about the public transport in Vilnius but how could I know that things were going to change so much in such a small period of time?

Due to the crisis, the price of the public transport has been rising more and more, and the quality of the service is getting worse. To reduce expenses the government has decided to do three things:

  1. Rise the prices: From the 1,40 lt of the single ticket to the actual 2.50 lt that it costs.
  2. Reduce the number of buses: At least they have reduced the schedule two times.
  3. Remove the night bus service: First, they started charging the service (before you could use it with your monthly ticket as a regular bus), and two months later, they simply removed it.
